How can you help embrace the orphans in the Turkana region in Kenya?
Sometimes it's hard to think of how we can change the world. The problems seem too big, the need too overwhelming. Yet, with God all things are possible. The Unembraced is about one small group of neighborhood churches in the Los Angeles region and their friends helping one small group of neighborhood churches in the Turkana region embrace these little ones in the town of Lodwar, by placing them in homes of loving caregivers. At Kairos, we have been in partnership with the Turkana region of local churches since 2005, and have recently launched an organization, the unembraced, as an instrument to assist in getting these little ones into homes of loving fmailies, and to strengthen the relationship between our churches.
